In Matthew 8, the disciples were with Jesus in a boat on the Sea of Galilee. Jesus was asleep when a great storm came upon the disciples, who were very afraid. Dr. Allen Stanton uses this passage to discuss the root of their fear and ours. The key to overcoming fear, he says, is to have in Jesus, who is both fully human and fully divine.
